This website, filter4safety.com, is operated and paid for by Filter4Safety ("Filter4Safety," "we," "us"). This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the terms that apply when you use this site. If you have a question, email info@filter4safety.com.
Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us through our newsletter sign-up forms:
- Email address (required to sign up).
- Name (optional).
- Mobile phone number (optional), and whether you have agreed to receive text messages.
- Street address, city, and ZIP code (optional). The state is always Nevada.
Your location is optional. We ask for it so we can help you identify which Nevada legislators represent you and point you to the right people to contact about BDR 43-73.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial account details, or health information.
How we use your information
Information collected through this site is used only by Filter4Safety to send you notifications and updates about BDR 43-73 and related motorcycle safety advocacy in Nevada, such as hearing and vote dates and calls to contact your legislators. We may also use it to respond to you and to keep our list accurate.
How we share your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may share information only with service providers that help us operate this website or send our updates, who may use it only to provide those services to us; or when required by law, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of Filter4Safety, our users, or others.
Service providers for our sign-up forms
- Apogee Forms is our form processor. When you submit a sign-up form, your information is sent directly from your browser to Apogee Forms, which stores it on our behalf so we can manage our list. It may also send you an email confirming your sign-up. If you add optional details after signing up, they are saved to the same sign-up record.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a sign-up comes from a person and not an automated bot. It loads only when you submit a sign-up form, and it may process technical information about your browser and device, such as your IP address and browser characteristics, to make that check. Cloudflare's handling of this information is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile privacy addendum.
- Email or text-messaging providers that deliver our updates, if and when we send them.
Hosting and technical data
Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery providers may process standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver and secure the site. We do not use this information to identify you, and this site runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels. The only third-party script on this site is the Cloudflare Turnstile check described above, and it runs only when you submit a sign-up form.
Security
This site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you provide. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention
We keep your information, including the sign-up records stored by our form processor, for as long as you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward to honor opt-out requests and keep records required by law. You can ask us to delete it at any time. Deleting cookies from your browser does not delete information you have already submitted; email us to have it removed.
Your choices
- Email: every update email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email info@filter4safety.com to be removed.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out (see Text messaging below).
- Access, correction, and deletion: email info@filter4safety.com to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
